Infant eczema is an inflammatory condition of the skin caused due to eating allergic foods. It can lead to boozing, blisters, rashes, etc. Eczema is prevalent among children below two years. 3. Food having probiotics
Many probiotic foods like yogurt help in building a robust immune system to prevent infant eczema. It also helps in reducing allergic reactions.

- Soft cheese like gouda
- Sourdough bread, etc.
The food depends mainly on the foods that you have been diagnosed with. If you are genuinely allergic to some foods, you must avoid them wholeheartedly.
Are there any foods to limit?
If what you eat does not cause eczema but does trigger it, you are suffering from a food allergy. Besides, common food allergies are:
- Dairy products
- Nuts, etc.
Food having preservatives also trigger symptoms at times. It is rich in high foods, processed foods, margarine foods, etc. Foods that are high in sugar also flare up the eczema symptoms. Sugar causes insulin levels to rise, triggering the body. Some of these items are:
- Coffee and other drinks
- Smoothies, etc.
Types of diet one can follow
1. Elimination diet
The elimination diet is for people suffering from an allergic reaction. Likewise, it might not trigger eczema but maybe other symptoms. If you want to start with this diet type, start by removing the allergy-causing products from your diet. Eat like this for at least three days to see if it causes any reaction in the body.
2. Gluten-free diet
Many foods have been labeled as gluten-free products. These are rye, wheat, and barley products, and you have gluten substitutes available in the markets.
